Senior Front-End Engineer @ Elder
London; January 2022 to August 2024
Elder is an award-winning live-in care company.
- Increased DX and development speed by migrating the code-base from Flow.js to TypeScript, introducing Material UI and upgrading our API connector from Redux-Saga to react-query (which reduced LoC by 40% for one app)
- Improved code quality and founded/led a "Front-end Guild" to improve our code quality and knowledge sharing
- Introduced Playwright for automated E2E testing. Updated Capacitor v3 to v5 and revamped our CI/CD pipeline
- Massively decreased Cost-To-Maintain by introducing an in-app chat
- Increased user number and NPS by implemening a new onboarding flow
- Took part in the interview process of three new engineers and successfully guided junior developers through pair-programming and code reviews
Front-End Engineer @ Glints

Glints is an online talent recruitment and career discovery platform operating in SEA.
- Implemented landing pages and product features used by thousands of users every day
- Acted as my squad's lead engineer and managed work for the other devs and planned features with stakeholders
- Led the team working on Glint's open source component library
Software Engineer @ Green City Solutions
Berlin, Germany; July 2017 to September 2018
GCS is a green-tech company from Berlin producing moss-based air filters.
- Helped set up a multi-container infrastructure for processing real-time diagnostic data
- Developed tools for internal and external usage on a range of platforms, including an Angular SPA dashboard and an Express maintenance application
- Programming of the PLC hardware and coordinating with external development partners
Student Assistant @ Knowledge Media Institute
Koblenz, Germany; August 2013 to March 2017
- Developed an "online-diary" PHP webapplication in partnership with a local hospital
- Developed various data-transformation tools.
