Elder is an award-winning live-in care company.

  • Increased DX and development speed by migrating the code-base from Flow.js to TypeScript, introducing Material UI and upgrading our API connector from Redux-Saga to react-query (which reduced LoC by 40% for one app)
  • Improved code quality and founded/led a "Front-end Guild" to improve our code quality and knowledge sharing
  • Introduced Playwright for automated E2E testing. Updated Capacitor v3 to v5 and revamped our CI/CD pipeline
  • Massively decreased Cost-To-Maintain by introducing an in-app chat
  • Increased user number and NPS by implemening a new onboarding flow
  • Took part in the interview process of three new engineers and successfully guided junior developers through pair-programming and code reviews

  • Implemented landing pages and product features used by thousands of users every day

GCS is a green-tech company from Berlin producing moss-based air filters.

  • Helped set up a multi-container infrastructure for processing real-time diagnostic data
  • Developed tools for internal and external usage on a range of platforms, including an Angular SPA dashboard and an Express maintenance application
  • Programming of the PLC hardware and coordinating with external development partners
